Looking for full time (preferred) or part time assistants for household tasks (cooking, cleaning), medical and daily life admin, organization, and errands. Employer is disabled and the job also entails assistance with personal care, accompaniment to medical appointments and recreational activities. Assistant also performs some in home medical tasks - paid training provided, no medical experience required. Also providing assistance required for employer to pursue goals, interests, and social engagements.
Driver's license required, own car ideal. Employer unable to use other forms of transportation due to disabilities. Must be able to safely and comfortably lift 50 lb folding wheelchair into your car, which must have space for it. We will drive mainly to medical appointments, but also recreational activities. Would also plan to go out of town occasionally for short trips of a few days to somewhere within a few hours drive, such as to a cabin in a scenic area.
Employer is vaccinated and boosted for COVID and the successful candidate(s) will be as well. N95 or equivalent masks required at all times. Employer and any guests will also be wearing them. Exclusively hiring people who mask with an N95 or equivalent in all public spaces.
Starts at $20/hour. Full time preferred, part time applicants also considered. Mostly steady weekly schedule with some flexibility offered and required. Typical shift may be 10-12 hours with meal break.
