This long-term contract / temporary Bookkeeper role is being offered by a New York, New York based company.Responsibilities
Outline Accounts Receivable invoices, reviewing payments received, and record deposits
Assemble financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information
Settle accounts by reconciling entries
Maintain accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions
Supervise bookkeeping policies and procedures, along with developing a framework to track financial transactions with an established chart of accounts
Sustain collections of historical records by organizing documents
Conduct and manage the general ledger Requirements - Microsoft Excel experience preferred
Basic Bookkeeping experience
QuickBooks experience desired
Previous experience as a Bookkeeper preferred
BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred
Earlier experience working with various types of accounting software desired
