Description Under the direct supervision of the AP Manager and in accordance with the Finance Departments Policy and Procedures, the AP Generalist will be required to perform duties requiring the computation and calculation of numerical data, vouchering of vendor invoices, reconciling petty cash replenishments, travel expenditures and credit card statements.ESSENTIAL TASKS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty listed satisfactorily. Review, code and voucher vendor invoices, petty cash replenishment and travel expenses to the Accounts Payable sub-ledger.
Match invoices with purchase orders and procure appropriate receipts for all goods and services.
Respond to all vendor inquires.
Interact with program/supporting service staff and vendors to ensure that all required documentation that is required for payment is obtained.
Audit calculations and documentation received for adherence to appropriate procedures, policies, rules, regulations and laws.
Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with the agency policy and accounting practices.
