Description Robert Half is in the process of recruiting an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk with a company in the Real Estate & Property field. As the Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk, you will have the opportunity to become an integral part of a company in the Real Estate & Property industry. Located in New York, New York, the Accounts Payable Clerk will be a short-term contract / temporary opening. Further career growth and quick advancement is possible in this dynamic department. The Accounts Payable Clerk will be expected to match and batch code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks.What you get to do every day
Verify, log and send checks, including facilitating special handling
Assist internal business partners with any customer services needs
Handle administrative tasks for the AP/Finance Department
Provide support during internal and external audits
Maintain proper storage of invoices, checks, and other documents by organizing, logging, scanning, and filing them
Handle daily department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it
Carry out additional tasks as assigned
Conduct full-cycle A/P
Perform daily processes and controls correctly and punctually, ensuring company policies are followed Requirements - Ability to work within spreadsheets and databases
Established communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds
AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
Great attention to detail
Prior experience in an A/P role preferred
Accounts Payable (AP) experience desired
