High Volume Restaurant Group in Midtown Seeking STAFF ACCOUNTANT, NON-HYBRID, Full time. Restaurant Experience a MUST
Duties (not all inclusive):
Perform daily reconciliations of cash, credit cards, third party payment platforms, paid outs, and post to General Ledger
Monitor bank account balances and perform bank reconciliations
Review and post weekly inventories
Prepare weekly financial reports detailing sales, food & beverage, and Labor
General ledger analysis, balance sheet reconciliations, and journal entries
Prepare month end closing work papers for outside accountants
Prepare sales and commercial rent tax filings
Complete special projects as requested.
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work as a positive team-player
Qualifications:
A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Staff Accountant.
Solid computer skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office, Toast, & Compeat/ Restaurant 365, Excel.
Exceptional customer service
Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Professional attitude and ability to maintain highly confidential information without compromise
Strong initiative and willingness to learn
Restaurant experience a MUST!
