Tenure Track Faculty Position in Biomedical Engineering, Cornell University Tenure Track Faculty Position in Biomedical Engineering, Cornell UniversityThe Nancy E. and Peter C. Meinig School of Biomedical Engineering at Cornell University invites applications to fill a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level. Exceptional candidates at all ranks will be considered. We are seeking candidates with expertise that builds on existing strengths in biomechanics, biomaterials, drug delivery, tissue engineering and/or systems/synthetic biology with application to women's health. Applications from individuals with expertise in machine learning, artificial intelligence, and computational approaches to the microbiome and diagnostics are particularly encouraged.Candidates must have an earned doctorate in engineering or a closely related field, with a demonstrated potential for success as an independent investigator and educator. We especially encourage applications by members of groups that are underrepresented in BME and STEM. This position will be supported in part by Cornell University's FIRST program (Cornell FIRST), a grant from the NIH's Common Fund's Faculty Institutional Recruitment for Sustainable Transformation (FIRST) Program, to recruit early-career faculty who have a demonstrated commitment to inclusive excellence.The Meinig School of Biomedical Engineering is in the College of Engineering on Cornell's campus in Ithaca, New York.
