Bowers College of Computingand Information Science (CIS) has tenure track and tenured faculty positions available. The ISDepartment spans Cornell's Ithaca and New York City campuses where nearly 40 faculty members areleaders in their respective fields within Information Science's interdisciplinary structure.While we are interested in applications from researchers in any of the broad research areas of thedepartment (see https://infosci.cornell.edu/research), this year we will focus on hiring candidateswhose research engages with ethical, legal, or policy issues in the context of computing systems,including those involving artificial intelligence, robotics or underserved communities.
