The fees collected go directly back to the Department of Food Science to support student programs and research (such as student product development teams, travel to conferences and competitions, scholarships, etc.) For more information, click on:The Sensory Evaluation Center is searching for a part-time, (typically 20-30 hours per week) assistant to facilitate sensory study administration, including but not limited to panelist recruitment, product preparation for testing, test fielding. panelist payments He or she will also assist with routine test programming, routine data tabulation, occasional data entry, light cleaning and inventory of supplies.This is a part-time, 20-30 hour per week, one year appointment with possibility of extension dependent on available work, continued funding and successful performance. There is potential that this position will evolve into a full-time 39 hours per week position, in the future.Visa Sponsorship is not available for this position.Relocation assistance will not be provided for this position.Required Qualifications:Associate's degree with one year of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.Must be detail oriented.Must have good communication skills.
