Location:4900 Tiedeman Road - Brooklyn, Ohio 44144-2302Job SummaryThe Payroll Tax Team Lead is responsible for supervising the execution of payroll processes, ensuring operational excellence and sound compliance.ResponsibilitiesSubject matter expert for Payroll Tax, including Third Party Management of Tax processing providerAssists with Third Party Management of the payroll processing providerProvides day-to-day guidance of a small team of payroll specialistsEnsures the accuracy and timeliness of payroll wages taxes, including timely and accurate execution of related processes (garnishments, incentive payments, reconciliations, etc)Runs and analyzes audit reports to ensure compliance with company policies and federal, state, and local lawsAutomates processes and drives efficienciesAccountable for adhoc payroll activities and issue remediation, including year-end project planWork with tax authorities to resolve tax noticesPerforms other duties as assigned; duties, responsibilities and/or activities may change or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without noticeComplies with all KeyBank policies and procedures, including without limitation, acting professionally at all times, conducting business ethically, avoiding conflicts of interest, and acting in the best interests of Key's clients and Key.Experience Qualifications5+ years Successful Payroll Tax experience, preferably with ADP Smart Compliance (required)5+ years Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (required)3+ years Workday Experience (preferred)Tactical SkillsStrong relationship management skillsCoaching skillsPersonal SkillsProblem SolvingPractical SkillsSystems ThinkingCore CompetenciesAll KeyBank employees are expected to demonstrate Key's Values and sustain proficiency in identified Leadership Competencies.Physical DemandsGeneral Office - Prolonged sitting, ability to communicate face to face in person or on the phone with teammates and clients, frequent use of PC/laptop, occasional lifting/pushing/pulling of backpacks, computer bags up to 10 lbs.COMPENSATION AND BENEFITSThis position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $77,000 to $100,000 annually depending on job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
