Senior Level CNC Programmer/Operator
Southern New Jersey Defense Contractor seeks Level III (Senior) CNC programmer and operator to help run HAAS CNC lathes and mills. Familiarity with EDM (Mitsubishi) a plus. This Monday through Friday 8:00-4:30 position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, exciting atmosphere supporting our warfighters. Pay is commensurate with experience and skill set. Job Expectations:
- 7-10 years minimum experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- 7-10 years minimum experience programming, setting up, and running CNC lathes and mills.
- Job applicants should be able to convert engineering drawings to write CNC programming and produce parts.
- Be able to set up machine including choosing appropriate tooling.
- Be able to create and/or design fixturing as necessary.
- Able to operate more than one machine at a time when cycle time and job complexity permit.
- Ability to use standard inspection equipment such as calipers, micrometers, bore gages, height gages, thread gages, etc.
- Ability to check one’s own work.
