You must have CNC Programming experience in order to be considered for this position
We currently have two CNC Programmer positions in the Cherry Hill, NJ general area. Both of these positions are Full Time, DIRECT HIRE, positions. However, the schedule and the pay rate will vary depending on the client.
The right candidate would be a highly skilled Industrial machinist with greater than 5 years of relevant experience.
Primary Responsibilities:
Requires knowledge of machining techniques and methods and familiarity with computer numerically controlled machine tool operating procedures.
Works from programming instructions, operational data and machine setup instructions defining and coding tool arrangements, material clamping methods, machine calibrations and console settings, for operations such as bore, mill, drill, face, thread and occasional profiling and contouring.
Checks parts for conformance to specifications.
Required Qualifications:
Understanding of manual lathe operation.
MUST HAVE an understanding of CNC programming.
Must understand and be familiar with manual hand tools.
Good hand-eye coordination and mechanical skills.
Great manual dexterity and physical stamina.
Attention to detail, accuracy, and close tolerances.
Understand raw material flaws, defects, and non-conformance.
Excellent organizational skills.
Ability to read, understand, and interpret blueprints/engineering prints.
Basic computer skills required (ie, Microsoft word and Outlook)
High School diploma or equivalent.
Vocational schooling and an eagerness to learn are highly valued.
Greater than 5 years of relevant experience in a similar position or role.
Required to work overtime as necessary.
