Position Summary:

The Level 1 Field Technician provides onsite support for client environments throughout the Central and South New Jersey region. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with people, solving technology issues face-to-face, and being part of a fast-paced, energetic, and growing company. Primary Job Tasks

Provide onsite IT support to clients for workstation, printer, network, and software issues.

Travel to client locations within the assigned region using reliable transportation.

Assist with new hardware installations, upgrades, and configuration.

Support projects including network setups, workstation rollouts, and site assessments.

Document work performed and update tickets using internal systems.

Provide excellent customer service in-person and communicate clearly with clients.

Coordinate with internal teams for escalations and project support.

Participate in hands-on training and cross-training sessions with senior staff.

Main Responsibilities, Required Skills, and Knowledge

Comfortable working in client environments and resolving technical issues onsite.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Basic troubleshooting skills for Windows, Office 365, printers, and networking.

Ability to work independently and represent KRS IT Consulting with professionalism.

Strong time management and organizational skills.

Must reside in Central/South NJ and have a reliable vehicle.

Professional, energetic, and positive attitude.

Required Education and Experience

1–2 years of IT support or help desk experience preferred.

A+ Certification or related IT coursework is a plus.

Prior customer-facing technical support experience is highly desirable.
