We are seeking a detail-oriented individual with diverse administrative experience to assist our accounting department. This position is a full-time, in-person role in our office located in Midland Park, NJ. This role is ideal for someone who is willing to learn and grow.
Responsibilities:
Provide general administrative support to the lease accounting department. Includes but not limited to scanning, copying, filing, printing, preparing mail, and making phone calls to vendors and Tenants
Assist in the Tenant lease and utility billing process
Request and track expirations of vendor COI
Request vendor W-9
Correspond with vendors for matters regarding invoices
Data entry – input insurance and lease information on property management software
Correspond with utility companies to set up and disconnect service
Provide backup on phones
Required Qualifications
Previous experience in an administrative role
Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
Excellent organization skills and communication skills (written and verbal) with high level of attention to detail.
Highly organized with an ability to work independently as well as in a team
Fluency in Spanish (speaking, reading, and writing) a plus but not required
