A fast-growing CPA and bookkeeping firm is seeking a detail-oriented and driven Administrative Assistant (part-time with the potential to become full-time) to work in a home office based in Edgewater, NJ. Prior experience is preferred but not required.
Duties include correspondence with clients and prospects, preparation of engagement letters, updating firm information, etc. Technology should be second nature to you as we are a 100% remote and paperless office. You will be working directly alongside a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), and Enrolled Agent (EA) with over 15 years of experience in a casual and relaxed home office environment.
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's Degree (in process or completed) – focus in Accounting or a related field is a plus.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Adobe Acrobat Pro, etc.
Meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Clean background/credit/employment check.
Preference to work in a home office environment.
This is an in-person role based in Edgewater, NJ (no remote work). This position does NOT involve any personal assistance or home-related responsibilities. Free off-street parking will be provided.
