MeltToba, a new restaurant in Westwood, opening Mid-January seeking an experienced chef or sous chef ready to take the next step in their career. MeltToba is a 180 seat, full service restaurant and bar. We carefully craft Pan-Asian inspired Global Cuisine with attention to detail, quality ingredients and refined culinary technique.
Our first head chef candidates will combine culinary creativity with strong leadership and operational expertise to deliver exceptional dining experiences.
Responsibilities:
Execute innovative refined menus
Oversee food preparation, presentation, quality control
Manage kitchen staff hiring, training, and scheduling
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards
Maintain an exceptionally clean kitchen
Control food cost, inventory, and supplier relationships
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a culinary leader in refined dining restaurants
Expertise in Pan-Asian and global cuisines
Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills
Extensive professional training or culinary degree
