You're looking to learn, self-motivated and equate reconciling accounting software up there with solving fun puzzles, your technological optimism makes you an ideal early adopter, you have kept your own household accounting in Quicken (or similar PFP) for years and can’t let a week go without updating. You watch CNBC, invest, enjoy self-learning, researching, adapting and implementing new apps. Willing to perform rote and administrative tasks when necessary but prefer to automate. Want to become a Certified Expert in a number of areas such as trust accounting, complex portfolio investments and QuickBooks in order to distinguish themselves from others in the field.
This position has much flexibility. Hours are flexible but this is a full-time job. You have no other commitments or side jobs and must work independently. You will be the 3rd employee to the partner so this will have an entrepreneurial feel. This is not a "start-up" position but must possess a strong work ethic with "whatever/ whenever/ wherever it takes" attitude”. Unlimited growth potential.
