We need YOU!We are seeking a professional like you to join our team as the key responsible for the strategic and operational portfolio comprising of 25+ Specialty products (Acetylenic derivatives). Reporting to the Business Director and working from our Florham Park office, you will be the key marketing and technical interface to sales, customer care, supply chain, manufacturing, procurement, R&D, product stewardship and legal in North America (US, Mexico, Canada). You will be an active team player with excellent communication skills. Your drive and ambition will allow you to grow the product portfolio from currently ca. $60M sales. The portfolio is comprised of products from our North American production site at Geismar, LA, and selected imports. In this role, you will ensure optimum utilization of the production assets to achieve profitability and strategic targets.As a Product Manager - Acetylenic Derivatives, You Create Chemistry By

Strategically managing the product portfolio, including launch, repositioning, quality, packaging, management of change and withdrawal, to earn a premium on the cost of capital and developing plans for investment projects to support market growth/strategy. You wil also support innovation process for the product portfolio.

Being responsible for product pricing and margin management, including pricing strategy, applied pricing models, costs analysis, and financial forecasting (including budget planning). You will also guide the sales force in areas such as product pricing and positioning, contract negotiations, competitive/market information, crisis management, customer/product action plans and customer communications to align with business strategies.

Understanding the regional market structure's economics, growth, trends, opportunities, value chain, customers, and competitive environment, which will help you in developing and implementing regional commercial strategies for the product portfolio, including product positioning and business plan development/execution.

Representing the business unit with the organization’s Global Marketing unit to define marketing strategies and support growth of the business across all regions. You will collaborate with the Customer Care, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, R&D, and Regulatory organizations to successfully deliver business plan targets. You will also coordinate with Supply Chain to achieve operational strategies relative to demand planning, product allocation, and inventory management.

Handling the distribution network, including identifying and selecting the right distribution partners, financial target setting, training and technical service as needed to help them succeed.

Driving continuous improvements in cost, production, quality, supply chain, and service levels to enhance competitiveness, financial performance and operational excellence.

If you have

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering/Chemistry or closely related fields

Industry experience, of which 3 years should be in Operations, Sales or Product Management.

Solid understanding of supply chain principles and systems

Solid business and financial acumen, analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent interpersonal communication skills, including: negotiation, influencing, presentation, reporting, and relationship building

Focus on increasing efficiency and driving continuous improvements
