MSNBC Digital is seeking an experienced photo editor to join our art and photo department. The photo editor will work closely with editors, reporters, and our art director to visualize our stories and brand on msnbc.com.This position is based in NY or D.C.Key Responsibilities:Research, select and edit images for inclusion in stories published on msnbc.com and our digital platformsMonitor news agency feeds to identify strong images for breaking and developing news stories and our live blogsEdit and compose captions and headlines for photos and galleries on our digital platformsCreate photo essays and photo galleries for msnbc.comWork with multiple stakeholders and execute assignments from editors on a wide range of topics Pitch and produce photo and art-driven stories for our websites and digital platforms
