MSNBC is looking for an experienced Segment Producer for The Weekend: Primetime 6-9pm with hosts Ayman Mohyeldin, Antonia Hylton, Catherine Rampell, and Elise Jordan. This position is represented by the Writers Guild of America East.Responsibilities:Research, report and write daily segments.Determine video and sound for assigned segments.Communicate daily story development with senior producer.Be in control room during airing of live segment.Help maintain social media presence of the show.Take part in editorial planning.Pitch story ideas.
