The incumbent will be responsible for all aspects of employee supervision, including participating in hiring and interviews; preparing Work Performance Standards; preparing and presenting Employee Appraisal and Development Reports; applying policies and procedures to ensure that the office is in compliance and that assigned staff goals are being met; developing and implementing corrective action and discipline plans; and coaching and mentoring employees to help improve performance. Supervisors in the EmployNV Business Hub supervise staff who work with businesses seeking recruitment assistance, labor market information, on-the-job training assistance, hiring incentives and program guidance. This position supervises staff that educate and promote workforce investment resources to the business community.
