Social Services Program Specialist III will be working in the MAABD Program, Eligibility and Payments Unit (E&P). Under general direction of the Social Services Chief, the incumbent will have primary responsibility for MAABD public assistance programs; may serve as an assistant to the Social Services Chief; draft and revise the State plan; draft and oversee the implementation of policies, procedures, and forms; prepare and monitor operating budgets and contracts; conduct research, studies, and surveys; assist with the development of corrective action plans; serve as a Division representative; and coordinate the development and maintenance of computerized systems.
