This is a Health Program Specialist 2 position within the Chronic Disease Prevention & Health Promotion (CDPHP) Section in the Bureau of Child, Family, and Community Wellness. The overall purpose of the position is to manage the Clinical and Community Engagement Unit. This position oversees all activities pertaining to the National Breast and Cervical Cancer Prevention (NBCCEDP) grant, National Comprehensive Cancer Control Program (NCCCP) Grant and the WISEWOMAN grant, including staff management, budget oversight, grant writing and management, data analysis, reporting, and evaluation related to cancer control efforts. This position leads communication efforts with the CDC-assigned project officers, assists in writing continuation grants and progress reports associated with funding and speaks and presents publicly to stakeholders.
