As lead worker for the Adoption Unit this position will be responsible for development of new adoption staff through case consultation, direct supervision, coaching, mentoring and modeling the desired best practice; Provide ongoing case management services for their own permanency caseload with a goal of adoption to include implementing plans of care; including home visits; monitoring services; court report preparation and record keeping; and providing technical information and educational services. This is a full-time position that can be located in Carson, Fallon, Elko or Pahrump. Travel may be extensive. A Nevada Social Work license is a requirement for hire and continued employment. Positions include a variable work agreement that will be scheduled to work hours and days different than 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday such as swing shift and weekends, with overtime after 40 hours per week.
