Kayak Tahoe Site Manager.
Hourly rate does not include potential gratuities. Kayak experience preferred. Job Description includes but is not limited to;
PRE-SEASON
-organize office and operational equipment, devices, safety gear, tools etc. for opening and continued operations. Let
-check, fix / maintain beach equipment using Kayak Tahoe tools.
-be available for boat moving and beach set up of your site. Direct employees how to set up your site in accordance with lease / contract stipulations.
OPERATIONS DURING THE SEASON
-responsible for safe and efficient operations of your site. The Manager is responsible for their site.
-SAFETY. Be familiar with and able to execute all safety, emergency, urgent and non-urgent procedures per protocol. Including beach rental procedures with guests and employees and assistance / rescues if needed.
-execute employee meeting every morning prior to starting set up. Cover weather expectations / safety, who is beach lead, operational procedures, other pertinent info.
-open on time
-complete guest paperwork and payment accurately
-keep an accurate record of all rentals, so another person could step in if needed.
-do a brief review at the end of the day with trainees, (new employees) and trainer.
-appropriately address employee tardiness, employees who are not doing their job or pulling their weight, un-professionalism and any inappropriate behavior, with that employee on the day of occurrence.
-check inventory regularly, particularly after days off. Replace equipment when necessary.
-complete inventory of beach equipment monthly on the designated day.
-complete books and banking, including tips record, accurately every day.
-manage guest and employee expectations.
-tell all employees their start and finish time.
-attend Manager meetings.
POST SEASON / SHUT DOWN
-break down site
-organize and clean site equipment for winter storage. Leave at Kayak Tahoe office and storage facility.
