Tahoe City Kayak and South Lake Kayak & Paddleboard (our newest venture) are hiring for several positions. We offer seasonal work from May 15th to October 15th. Positions available include
Kayak Guide - Take customers on 2-4 hour tours on Lake Tahoe. We offer training in kayak rescues and instructional techniques for those job candidates who don't have experience.
Kayak Rental Tech - Help our rental customers launch from the shore of Lake Tahoe. Excellent customer service skills, and the ability to lift and move kayaks in the sun are required.
Operations Manager - Work in our retail store managing our online and phone reservations, and assigning guides to tours as they book. The person in this position will also need to help with selling kayaks on the retail sales floor, and occasionally help with kayak deliveries.
We have a couple of apartments available for rent starting in mid-May. We will give employees in need of housing first preference for these.
