Job Overview:Responsible for the day-to-day servicing of the Association and homeowners by providing exceptional service through assuming responsibility for working in the receiving area; maintaining area safety, orderliness, and cleanliness; verifying licenses, insurances, and permits of all service providers and contractors through the management office; enforces parking regulations; enforces rules and regulations of the Association. Good communication and customer service skills.Compensation: $17 per hourFirstService Residential will compensate the successful candidate in accordance with the posted range. The salary or wage paid to the successful candidate will be commensurate with experience, education, certifications, and specific job responsibilities. For positions designated at a client's property, the salary or wage will also be premised upon the client's directive. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.Your Responsibilities:

Maintains regular, positive, and professional communication and abides by the culture created to enhance, promote, and execute daily positive interactions between association members, vendors, and FirstService associates.

Ensures that the receiving area office is never left unattended/unlocked.

Never permit the receiving area to be blocked.

Schedules freight elevator for residents moving in and out in advance adhering to Association Policy.

Registers all deliveries and packages (i.e. Fed Ex, UPS, DHL, registered mail).

Reports all problems to the supervisor, including problems outside of the scope of responsibility.

Issues parking passes to all approved vehicles.

Registers and distributes ID passes to all contractors.

Monitors the coming and going of service contractors and building repair and maintenance contractors through logs.

Completes required reports.

Requisitions materials, tools, and supplies needed for the job.

Ensures all safety precautions are followed while performing work.

Maintains a safe work area.

Attend training, organization, and industry functions as required.

Practice and adhere to FirstService Residential Mission Statement, Global Service Standards, and Core Values.

Conduct business always with the highest standards of personal, professional, and ethical conduct.

Perform or assist with any operations as required to maintain workflow and to meet schedules.

Notify supervision of unusual equipment or operating problems and the need for additional materials and supplies.

May participate in any variety of meetings and work groups to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems, and maintain a specified level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, requirements, policies, and regulatory guidelines.

Ensure all safety precautions are followed while performing the work.

Follow all company policies and Standard Operating Procedures as instructed by Management.

Perform any range of special projects, tasks, and other related duties as assigned.

Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications:

Display a community posture that positively represents the vision of the Association and Organization.

Be well-spoken to instill confidence in the homeowners that reside within the community as well as the public that may interact through designated programs.

Demonstrates effective oral and written communication skills.

Organizational and time management abilities with the ability to implement and monitor progress for successful completion, working well under pressure and deadlines.

Works effectively with coworkers, clients, customers, and others by sharing ideas in a constructive and positive manner; addresses problems and issues constructively to find mutually acceptable and practical business solutions.

Strong ethical practices.

Strong abilities with computers are required (including Word, Outlook, and Excel). Multiple language fluency would be desirable.

Previous experience preferred.

Must be able and willing to work a variety of hours to meet the requirements of the position, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

Position involves sitting, standing, and/or movement throughout the day. Must be able to transport yourself not only around the office but also around the Community Association.

Performance of duties may require employees to be both inside and outside. Inside temperature will be controlled and the use of fluorescent lighting will exist. Outside may require employees to be exposed to the elements, which may include wind, rain, cold, snow, and extreme heat.

Must be able to lift 50-100 lbs.
