Construction Superintendent
N&M Construction is a fast-growing, Las Vegas, Water/Fire damage repairs and remodel for residential and commercial projects. We are a small, close-knit team that works together to create a seamless experience for our clients. We work with a wide variety of clients including apartment communities, residential homes, and many more.
We are looking for a Construction Superintendent to supervise the construction repairs of homes and or commercial spaces. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction management and will be able to coordinate all phases of the construction process from design to installation. The successful candidate will have great communication skills and will be able to manage projects according to schedule and provide excellent customer service.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Oversee all phases of the construction process from design through installation
Manage project schedules and ensure all deadlines are met
Coordinate with subcontractors and other vendors (e.g. electrician, carpentry, plumbing) to ensure the project stays on schedule
Ensure that all permits are met on projects before they start
Ensure that all work is performed according to specifications (e.g. safety standards)
Manage project budgets and ensure that costs are within budget
Ensure that work is completed in an orderly way with great quality and attention to detail
Report on progress daily as well as add any new developments or problems that arise
Other duties as assigned by the manager or supervisor
Desired Experience:
3+ years of experience in construction management or supervisory role
Experience in residential construction
Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Google Sheets, etc.
Familiarity with building codes and how they apply to different types of construction (preferred)
Excellent customer service, written and verbal communication skills able to interact with many people professionally and courteously which will represent our company, must have a positive attitude and organization.
Valid Driver license
