Business Technology Relationship Management AnalystOPPD is seeking a Technology Relationship Management Analyst to support development and administration of the Technology Relationship Management strategy and program for the business unit. This role helps develop sustainable relationships with strategic technology suppliers ensuring strategic alignment with the mission and helps influence supplier performance. The Technology Relationship Management Analyst will also manage contractual performance as well as financial and risk management aspects of the Technology Relationship Management program.

Supports development and administration of the Technology Relationship Management strategy and program for the Business Unit.

Supports development of sustainable relationships with key technology suppliers ensuring strategic alignment with the mission and help influence vendors performance.

Tracks and manages suppliers performance to drive desired outcomes.

Renews software maintenance and support contracts, supports development of software licensing verification process partners with Cybersecurity, Enterprise Risk Management, Supply Chain Management and other teams throughout the District on the supplier risk management lifecycle practices and methodologies.

Supports technology asset management and financial processes.

Qualifications

Required:

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science or related field or a combination of education and work experience that provides the necessary skills to perform the essential job functions.

Three (3) years of formal work experience in Technology Vendor Management field

Knowledge of disciplined vendor management, financial management principles and practices across all disciplines of contract Management, performance management, financial management and relationship management.

Broad, solid working knowledge of current IT technologies.

Ability to effectively present information and respond appropriately to inquiries from internal and external business partners, including experience handling challenging situations and conflict resolution.

Proven creativity, initiative, tact and sound business judgment ability, strong critical thinking skills.

Desired

Experience with analysis and technical support for procurement decisions of new licenses/software/hardware and also renewal of recurring licensing/warranty requirements.

Business acumen across multiple practices including information technology, asset management, vendor management, financial management, contracts management and operational risk management.
