We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Business Analyst (BA) ¿ Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) or Senior Business Analyst (BA) ¿ Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) to become a part of our team. The perfect candidate will possess extensive experience in analyzing business processes, pinpointing areas for enhancement, and implementing impactful solutions to foster business growth.The Senior Business Analyst (BA) ¿ Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) is accountable for maximizing the business value of the enterprise asset management system and other applications, databases, and mobile viewing tools used to manage enterprise assets. The BA utilizes their extensive knowledge and experience to position these technology products to adopt, establish, document and support key business processes relevant to work and asset management. This position supports the Enterprise Asset Management applications to adopt, use and train employees across the Enterprise in the assigned technologies. The Business Analyst also acts as a change agent who identifies technology and organizational improvement opportunities and assists in integrating processes and technology within other departments at OPPD.Position Specific Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

Key business contact for the configuration of enterprise asset management technology solutions, including but not limited to IBM Maximo, DNV Cascade, and other related solutions.

Use independent judgment and discretion to perform designated system configuration changes to enable and optimize business outcomes including development of reporting and dashboards, user access, user interface modifications, and notification management.

Troubleshoot business process related issues with assigned technologies.

Audit and maintain data integrity management processes.

Identify and lead continuous process improvement efforts.

Perform data analysis and report to management in support of business operations.

Serve as a key stakeholder and business unit interface to Enterprise Asset Management processes.

Coordinates, updates, and maintains information related to assets such as asset specifications and inspection data related to assets.

Coordinates with other business analysts to analyze and remediate the impact of changes to integrated systems that may impact the enterprise asset management systems.

Follow standardized processes to support modifications to asset master data.

Business lead for product training and adoption.

Drive business partner adoption of technologies to maximize business value through industry leading practices.

Create and maintain formal enterprise asset management process and procedure documentation including oversight of courses, programs and job roles.

Identify formal business training needs and requirements for enterprise asset management systems and programs.

Develop training course material and train business users.

Business co-lead for new product development and communication.

Define business functional requirements and use cases.

Define business functional test and acceptance plans.

Define business configuration change items.

Participate in product enhancement prioritization planning sessions.

Define security roles for computer systems and programs.

Define service catalog request fulfillment items.

Define and coordinate technical change control activities with other departments and end users.

Work with Technology and Security (TS) to verify technical/functional changes to the application follow TS standards and can be easily promoted to higher environments.

Business co-lead for product road map.

Provide expert advice on industry trends, standards and leading practices to management.

Business representative in technology roadmap and lifecycle planning.

Participate in the system ownership relationship between the business units.

Manage the business relationship with technology vendors.

Represent other business stakeholders in developing and enhancing planning.

Qualifications

Business Analyst - EAMSalary Range: Minimum $86,386 Midpoint $107,982Required

Bachelor¿s Degree OR a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in Science, Technology, Engineering, or related engineering or science discipline.

Minimum of 1 year of EAM related experience.

Proficient with database programming languages and creating scripts using Python, SQL queries, and reporting tools and platforms.

Proficient analytical skills to troubleshoot complex problems.

Experience supporting Windows applications using DB2, Oracle, or Microsoft SQL Server.

Ability to read and comprehend technical and/or functional manuals and instructions.

Ability to identify gaps in current business practices; perform best practice research and offer alternate solutions.

Ability to effectively plan and manage priorities and projects, and demonstrate effective problem resolution skills.

Excellent communication skills, and strong technical writing skills.Desired

Experience working with and/or supporting asset management, design engineering, or work management.

IBM Maximo application experience.

Knowledge of substation, transmission, distribution, and power generation systems.

Experience in Continuous Process Improvement and Organizational Change Management practices.

Senior Business Analyst - EAMSalary Range: Minimum $94,112 Midpoint $117,640Required

Bachelor¿s Degree OR a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in Science, Technology, Engineering, or related engineering or science discipline.

Minimum of 2-3 years of experience working directly with IBM Maximo EAM solutions.

Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a business analyst in relevant utility industry.

Proficient at configuring and customizing IBM Maximo, including knowledge of Maximo modules such as Work Management, Inventory, Procurement, and Asset Management.

Experience with data analysis, reporting tools, and creating reports within Maximo.

Proficient with database programming languages and creating scripts using Python, SQL queries, and reporting tools and platforms.

Ability to lead cross-functional teams to enact change in the EAM ecosystem and collaborate with stakeholders effectively.

Proficient analytical skills to troubleshoot complex problems.

Proficient at supporting Windows applications using DB2, Oracle, or Microsoft SQL Server.

Ability to read and comprehend technical and/or functional manuals and instructions.

Ability to identify gaps in current business practices; perform best practice research and offer alternate solutions.

Ability to effectively plan and manage priorities and projects, and demonstrate effective problem resolution skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with stakeholders, including technical teams and business users.

Desired

Master¿s degree in a relevant field or certified in relevant IBM Maximo certifications.

Experience working with and/or supporting asset management, design engineering, or work management.

Extensive knowledge of substation, transmission, distribution, and power generation systems.

Experience and/or certification in Continuous Process Improvement and Organizational Change Management practices.
