Introduction:
Lone Peak Precision is a local machine shop serving the hi-tech industry in the Gallatin Valley. We specialize in high mix, low volume manufacturing of aluminum goods. We believe in a strong work-life-school balance and are looking to bring on an intern that contributes to our manufacturing processes and company culture.
Lone Peak Precision is looking for students in engineering and/or CNC Machine Technology students to apply for a manufacturing internship.
Specific Duties:
Operate Haas CNC machine
Load stock material
Unload finished parts and verify critical dimensions
Adjust programs to ensure quality standards are met
Set up and proof new programs
Provide feedback to programmers on program
Maintain shop systems to verify
Desired Qualifications:
Understanding CNC technologies(required)
Experience with Haas CNC machines(desired)
Basic knowledge of geometric tolerances and dimensioning(GD&T)(desired)
Experience with ISO9001 and/or AS9100 quality standards(desired)
Current Junior or Senior, or recently graduated from Montana State University in mechanical engineering technologies, CNC Machine Technologies or similar(required)
Willingness to collaborate and continually improve our brand and product(required)
