Description Robert Half is seeking a temporary Benefits Specialist in the St. Louis area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for administering various employee benefits programs and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations. This role will involve collaborating with team members to deliver comprehensive benefits support to employees.Key Responsibilities:

Guide new employees through the benefits enrollment process, providing detailed explanations of available options and assisting with paperwork

Manage and administer FMLA leave and worker's compensation claims, serving as a point of contact for employees and liaising with relevant parties to ensure compliance and timely resolution

Work closely with the pension provider to oversee pension programs and assist as needed, particularly during audits or special circumstances

Coordinate with third-party administrators to oversee the company's 403B retirement plan, ensuring accurate record-keeping and compliance with regulations

Provide support for payroll processing, collaborating with the payroll coordinator to verify accuracy and completeness

Manage the termination process for employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits, ensuring smooth transitions and compliance with relevant policies and regulations

Qualifications:

Prior experience in benefits administration or a similar role.

Strong understanding of FMLA, worker's compensation, pension plans, and other employee benefits programs

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively explain complex benefits information to employees

Detail-oriented and organized, with a commitment to accuracy and compliance
