Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for an Administrative Assistant in the Printing/Publishing industry, located in KANSAS CITY, Missouri. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the front desk area, supporting the Human Resources and Accounting departments, and coordinating meetings. Responsibilities: Manage the front desk area, ensuring efficient operation and professional representation Handle daily mail, sorting and distributing accordingly Assist Human Resources and Accounting departments by preparing offer letters, assisting with onboarding, handling paperwork, and other assigned tasks Schedule and coordinate meetings, ensuring all necessary preparations are made in advance Utilize skills in Customer Service, Data Entry, Email Correspondence, Inbound Outbound Calls, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Schedule Appointments, HRIS - Human Resources Info Systems Provide support for other administrative tasks as neededRequirements Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is essential Experience in data entry with high level of accuracy Excellent customer service skills and ability to handle inbound and outbound calls Experience in scheduling appointments and managing calendars Ability to handle email correspondence professionally and efficiently Previous experience in an administrative role within the printing/publishing industry would be an advantage Familiarity with HRIS - Human Resources Information Systems would be beneficial Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team High school diploma or equivalent education level is required Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically Detail-oriented and able to prioritize tasks effectively Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
