Description We are looking for a diligent Trade/Sales Assistant based in Kansas City, Kansas. The role involves dealing with promotional deals, maintaining financial data accuracy, and supporting the department management with deal reconciliation issues. This job offers a contract to hire employment opportunity, highlighting the significance of adaptability and long-term commitment.Responsibilities: Conduct research to resolve short and long term promotional deals as per the division aging report Perform detailed aging analysis at the start of every new period to identify deals with a significant dollar loss, ensuring timely recovery of funds Prepare weekly and period balancing schedules to maintain the accuracy and currency of the financial data reported on the Trade Funds report Handle vendor repay requests on deals that have been previously reconciled to assist in dispute resolution Contribute to the period end close process, ensuring reconciled deals are accurately reported Provide support and feedback to department management regarding deal reconciliation issues Work on specific deals identified by management needing attention Utilize skills in billing, aging reports, and PeopleSoft to ensure efficient job performance. Requirements Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, higher education is a plus Prior experience in a Trade/Sales Assistant role is highly desirable Proficiency in billing procedures and practices Familiarity with Aging Reports and the ability to interpret them effectively Proficiency in using PeopleSoft software for various trade and sales tasks Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively Ability to work effectively in a team environment Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow within the role.
