Find your future with us.The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Mid-level DevSecOps Software Engineer to work in Berkeley, MO .We’re seeking a highly talented, motivated, and creative individual to lead and support the existing capabilities of an agile software program in the Phantom Works organization. Applicable and appropriate educational/certification credentials from an accredited institution and/or equivalent experience is required.Position Responsibilities

Plans, executes, and documents software research and development projects

Performs software project management functions

Serves as a subject matter expert on DevSecOps pipelines and associated tools

Serves as a subject matter expert on software release processes, dependency management, branching strategies, and versioning schemes

Responsible for creating and maintaining DevSecOps pipelines for multiple software teams

Responsible for software development tool administration, maintenance, version upgrades, patch management, and integration between the tools (Jira, Gitlab, Artifactory, Confluence, SonarQube, etc)

Develops processes for tool and user management

Responsible for maintaining current software licenses and procurement of any necessary new licenses

Supports the software development team with new tool configurations

Supports the software development team in software delivery automation across multiple networks

Briefs software designs and demonstrating software release functionality to customer/stakeholders/end users

Knowledge of Windows and Linux administration

Works under minimal direction

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.This position requires ability to obtain program access, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship only.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry

3 years’ experience with designing and developing software using Python, C/C, C# and/or Java

Experience with Cross Platform Development (Windows, Linux, VxWorks, etc.)

3 years’ experience Agile Software Development

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Experience working autonomously in closed areas with little supervision

Experience working with distributed teams

Ability to obtain Security+ certification

Knowledge of Windows and Linux administration

Experience with cross IPT teams

Experience with embedded software

Experience with Test Driven Development and automated software testing

Experience with developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines

Experience with Infrastructure as Code

Proficient with Agile and modern software development practices

Experience with service-based software release processes, dependency management, branching strategies, and versioning schemes

Experience with integration labs

Experience with various aircraft integration including open mission systems architectures

Has a mindset for continual incremental process improvement

Typical Education/Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience).In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.Relocation:This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
