Great opportunity for caretaker person or 2-person team for an apartment in New Brighton, MN.
Duties include mostly showing/leasing apartments, coordinating move in move out process, working with residents, enforcing lease, and building rules and light maintenance. You must have effective communication skills. No hallway cleaning or heavy maintenance. We have a cleaning crew to clean the common areas, but we will need help with keeping things picked up, changing light bulbs, and turnovers as needed. We have staff for rent collections and property management, and we also have a full-time maintenance staff for repairs. Light maintenance includes changing light bulbs, snow shoveling steps as needed, keeping the building picked up and other light maintenance tasks as needed.
Caretakers must live onsite, have outside income and be flexible and available for apartment showings mostly late afternoons, early evenings, and weekends. You can and must have outside income, and you must qualify and pass a background check. This is a very flexible position, but you must have the flexibility to show apartments on short notice.
This is a great opportunity if you are looking for a nice well-appointed apartment and you want to be fairly compensated for your work while saving money on rent. There are opportunities for advancement as well.
Please know this is a very part-time position, 4 to 8 hours per week or 12 to 40 hours per month, with compensation going towards a rent credit on a studio, 1- or 2-bedroom apartment. All apartments are market rate.
