This brand-new fine dining restaurant opening in early summer will introduce a unique concept of contemporary wood-fired molecular cuisine, thoughtfully sourced to create an unforgettable gastronomic experience.

Position Specific:

The Executive Chef is responsible to lead and elevate the culinary operations. As the head of our kitchen, you will oversee all aspects of menu development, kitchen management, and staff training to ensure our fine-dining restaurant delivers exceptional quality and consistency in every dish.

The Executive Chef reports directly to the Director of Culinary Operations.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain high standards of cuisine, ensuring quality and consistency in all dishes.

Lead menu development, and seasonal updates, and ensure food offerings align with the brand’s vision and customer expectations.

Manage food budgets, analyze costs, and implement cost-saving strategies without compromising quality.

Oversee inventory control, purchasing, storage, and waste management to ensure optimal efficiency.

Lead and mentor the kitchen team, including recruitment, training, and ongoing development of staff.

Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment by enforcing health and safety standards in the kitchen.

Conduct regular property walkthroughs with management to review operational successes and areas for improvement.

Work closely with the GM and DOC on financial planning, budgeting, and labor management.

Monitor kitchen performance, conduct audits, and ensure compliance with culinary and labor systems.

Maintain hands-on involvement during peak hours to support kitchen operations and quality control.

Requirements:

Minimum (2) years of experience as an Executive Chef, preferably in a high-volume or fine dining environment.

Culinary diploma or equivalent experience strongly preferred.

Strong leadership abilities with a positive, team-oriented attitude.

Proven experience in financial management, including cost control and budget planning.

Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively manage staff.

Knowledge of health and safety regulations with a commitment to maintaining compliance.

Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Physical ability to meet the demands of the role, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
