In this role as Senior Product Designer, your responsibilities range from the design of features and enhancements as part of incremental product improvement, to completely reimagining our products as part of our 'Next Generation' product strategy and vision projects. You will collaborate closely with your product and dev partners in solving problems for our users using human centered design principles. Primary Responsibilities:- Hands-on foundational research, interaction design, visual design, prototyping and customer research - taking problems from concept to implementation, quickly and iteratively
- Partner with system design team to ensure reusability and contribute to the system design ecosystem to improve and evolve design patterns
- Manage and translate end user research, facilitate structured brainstorming and ideation techniques, oversee rapid prototyping
- Translate business strategies into user experiences, which may include persona development, journey maps, workflow planning, wireframes, and low fidelity sketches
- Deeply understand the needs, pain points, behaviors, emotions and journeys of users in the context of the digital and clinical experience
- Identify and coach other team members on user experience design
- Conduct quantitative/qualitative customer research and experimentation to deliver the best experiences
- Ability to successfully communicate and collaborate across a variety of stakeholders, including researchers, product managers, engineers as well as executives and customers
- 5+ years of UX/UI Product Design experience
- Visual design / UI Design expertise
- Ability to share a portfolio of work demonstrating your human centered approach and design thinking skills
- Lead user tests
- Experience working with design systems
- Experience designing data-heavy software within a healthcare experience
- Experience with one or more of the following Figma, Sketch + Axure libraries
- Experience working in large, highly-matrixed corporation
- Service design and creative workshop experience
- Understanding of agile / lean + development framework
- Human-centered / design thinking training
- Self-starter who's comfortable with ambiguity and change
- Lead research studies
