Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a detail-oriented Telecommunications Specialist. The role involves serving as a Voice Analyst within our Network Operations Center, focusing on provisioning and maintaining VoIP related products. This fully remote position will play a significant role in supporting and troubleshooting our voice platforms, maintaining active communication with our customers, on-site technicians, carrier service providers, and our Technical Support and VoIP Engineers. Responsibilities: Serve as the primary escalation point for VoIP-related dispatches and trouble tickets. Monitor network devices, interfaces, and trouble tickets, providing continuous monitoring for issues impacting our customers' voice services. Troubleshoot issues with our voice services and update call paths as needed. Maintain active communication with customers, on-site technicians, carrier service providers, and our Technical Support and VoIP Engineers. Respond to incoming calls and emails regarding service troubles or call path changes in a timely and detail oriented manner. Coordinate the proper installation and configuration of voice service components. Contact carriers and vendors to open new trouble tickets, schedule dispatches and stay up-to-date on existing trouble tickets. Implement, troubleshoot, and maintain VoIP systems. Work well in a team-oriented environment, successfully completing individual tasks. Demonstrate knowledge of telephone networks – POTS, VoIP, and TDM. Requirements Minimum of one year of experience as a Telecommunications Specialist or in a related role Proficiency in Cisco Voice Over Internet (Voip) Familiarity with Voice over internet protocol (VoIP), VoIP, and VOIP - Voice Over IP Experience with IP Telephony and Telephony System Knowledge of Network Operation Center operations Basic Troubleshooting skills Proficiency in ISDN and SIP protocols Exceptional customer service skills with a track record of resolving customer service issues Demonstrated ability to deliver superior customer service.
