Job Description Requirements:

As General Manager, you are responsible for developing and managing the hospitality experience throughout the restaurant, and for coaching and developing your FOH staff to perform to the best of their abilities, which is a key function of managing the guest experience. You are to maintain all service & food standards set forth. Furthermore, you are responsible for upholding company policies and procedures to the highest level by remaining accountable, firm and consistent. Your job requires you to work effectively with all team members and to display strong managerial judgement. You will be responsible for managing company resources and using industry best practices. As General Manager, your focus will be to coach and teach your staff, to consistently observe, and to look for every opportunity to elevate your team. This is essential in setting a benchmark for our culture. The General Manager must be self-motivated, driven, inspiring and hospitality minded. The General Manager must also have keen people and business skills which include communication, motivation, leadership, problem solving and organizational skills.

1. Living, breathing and exuding company values.

2. Maintaining and managing the highest possible food expectations and perception.

3. Ensuring proper staffing levels for FOH.

4. Establish and maintain effective employee relations to promote retention.

5. Ensuring restaurant grooming and presentation standards are met.

6. Setting and overseeing department goals.

7. Monitoring of restaurants controllable costs and labor “PRIME”

8. Certifications (SERVSafe, etc.)

9. Weekly inventory and purchase review.

10. Managing and receiving processes.

11. Ordering, control.

12. Team training.

13. FOH sanitation and cleanliness walk-throughs.

14. Successful health department inspections.

15. Ensuring company procedures, policies and standards are maintained.

16. Growing same store sales, increasing check averages/guest counts, improving product sales mix & guest retention.
