Title: ADAS & ADS Evaluation EngineerLocation: Ann Arbor MIDuration: Long termJob Description : Duties & Responsibilitieso Support the evaluation and tuning of ADAS / ADS systems with a focus on North American road conditions andchallenges.o Support the development and initial implementation of proof-of-concept systems.o Configure, modify, and troubleshoot test vehicles, sensors and data acquisition equipment.o Communicate performance issues through project leaders to suppliers & TMC to support proposals of appropriatecountermeasures.o Implement quantitative benchmarking methods for ADAS (Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems) on competitor vehiclesusing GPS, camera, or other sensors.o Complete data gathering evaluations on public roads and proving grounds.o Analyze test data and make performance change recommendations to the system owners through project leaders. • Requirements: Qualification & Expo Experience installing, troubleshooting, and using data acquisition & testing equipment such CanAlyzer, Vbox, Panel 4, orother data acquisition equipment.o Functional knowledge of high-precision GPS systems, including differential measurements and base station corrections. o Ability to design and create prototype wire harnesses for low-voltage / high-speed communication for test vehicleinstrumentation.o Basic proficiency in creating or modifying scripts to automatically analyze test and simulation data using MATLAB,Python, or other similar programming languages.o Experience in robotics and ROS-based developments.o Bachelors’ degree in engineering or equivalent technical area. o Experience evaluating ADS or ADAS systems.o Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% (US domestic).o A valid US Drivers’ License. Added Advantageo Experience with simulation, closed-track, or on-road verification of vehicle control systemso Experience or basic knowledge of ADAS related regulatory assessment protocol testing.o Experience or functional knowledge of cloud computing systems such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, orequivalent.o Working knowledge in the principles of radar, machine vision, and sonar. o A Toyota Middle-Class license or equivalent Please attach a copy of your updated resume, in word format, elaborating your projects in tune with the client’s requirement.
