Description Robert Half is looking for an IT Field Engineer candidates who have the ability to interact with technical and non-technical users in an understandable and concise manner while solving complex technical issues. This role may be for you if you are a self-starter and a problem solver who enjoys working in a positive, dynamic environment. Key responsibilities
Assist with functionality testing and end user support
Record daily data communication transactions, issues and remedial actions or installation activities
Handle all imaging and preparation tasks for new computers
Oversee data transfers from PC to PC and troubleshoot software/hardware and break/fix
Manage and carry out a variety of technology implementation projects
Install printers, troubleshoot and handle repairs
Provide computer hardware support for PCs, laptops, monitors, servers, and other IT equipment, including diagnoses, repairs, rebuilds, and refurbishments
Ensure the integrity of all electronic data records by following company quality standards
Dismantle, box and ship outdated equipment
Handle take down, packaging, transportation and setup/installation on site
Manage equipment inventory, collaborating on purchases as needed
Coordinate repairs with the appropriate vendors
Communicate regularly and effectively with ticket submitters
Requirements - Eager problem-solver who listens for customer cues and actively resolves problems with grace and integrity
Demonstrated flexibility to adapt to changes in procedures and job assignments
CompTIA A+ certification required
High attention to detail and possesses excellent organizational and writing skills
1+ years of experience supporting PC and Mac hardware and software, as well as knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN, and WAN
Expertise in PC desktop/workstations
Foundational knowledge in Hardware Troubleshooting
Comprehensive knowledge of PC Hardware
Proficiency in Microsoft Server
No stranger to network design and implementation strategies
