The Williston Northampton School, an independent, co-educational boarding and day school located in Easthampton, MA, seeks a full-time, calendar-year Executive Assistant for Advancement. The Executive Assistant for Advancement works closely with the Director of Advancement to support daily operations of the department, Leadership Giving, Annual Giving, Donor Stewardship, and Planned Giving. This role manages administrative tasks for the office, budget reconciliation, office operations, and supports donor communications. Other duties will include but are not limited to: manage invoice processing and recordkeeping, training advancement staff on purchase card policies and procedures, perform routine office functions, including preparing mail for distribution, copying, filing, answering phones, completing the daily mail run to the campus mail room, manage the implementation and ongoing execution of the stewardship program that acknowledges and recognizes donors to the School’s fundraising programs, including endowment reporting, financial aid stewardship and student reflection survey, and the Head’s Insider Report, provide support across the Advancement office as needed. The successful candidate must enjoy the routine of office administration, have excellent written and oral communication abilities, attention to detail, the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects effectively, and proficiency with the Microsoft suite of tools; a bachelor’s degree is preferred; three to five years of advancement or related experience, preferably in an academic environment. Must possess a valid driver’s license; must have the ability to work in a school environment by successful completion of all legally required and school required background checks including the state mandated CORI (Criminal Offender Record Information), SORI (Sex Offender Record Information), and fingerprint based criminal background check.
