IT Field Specialist

A leading electrical contractor in Massachusetts, seeks to hire an IT Field Technology Specialist, to join its robust IT team. You will support all facets of technology inthe office and at job sites. Responsibilities:Troubleshooting technical & network issuesInstalling and configuring hardware and softwareCommunicating with team members to quickly resolve issuesProvide timely and accurate feedbackFollowing up with team members to ensure the problem is resolvedReplacing or repairing hardwareSupporting the roll-out of new applicationsProviding support in the form of procedural documentationManaging multiple cases at one timeTesting and evaluating new technologiesRepair and configuration for iPhones & iPadsMaintaining and managing job site technology including network, tech site job boxes, and connectivityQualifications:Degree in computer science or information technology preferableBasic understanding of Network technologyCertification in Comp Tia, Microsoft, Apple, or Google is advantageousPrior experience in tech support, desktop support, or a similar roleProficiency in Windows/G-Suite/IOSProficiency with Apple iPhone and iPadFamiliarity with CAD, BIM, SmartSheets, and BluebeamExperience with remote desktop applications and help desk softwareAttention to detail and good problem-solving skillsExcellent interpersonal skillsExcellent written and verbal communicationIn Return:Excellent company cultureSummer Fridays (2pm Release)A team with longevity at the organizationGreat mentorship experienceFull Benefits2 weeks PTO + 11 paid holidaysUnionBeacon Hill is an Equal Opportunity Employer that values the strength diversity brings to the workplace.
