Quality Control Area Engineer - Track and Systems

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Quality Control Area Engineer - Track and Systems to join our team in the North East region of the United States. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety for our railway track and systems infrastructure.Develop and implement quality control procedures for track and systems maintenance and construction projectsConduct regular inspections of railway tracks, signals, and related systems to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulationsAnalyze data from inspections and tests to identify potential issues and recommend corrective actionsCollaborate with project managers and contractors to resolve quality-related problems and improve processesPrepare detailed reports on quality control activities, findings, and recommendationsParticipate in project planning meetings to provide input on quality control requirements and best practicesStay up-to-date with industry standards, regulations, and technological advancements in railway track and systems engineeringTrain and mentor junior engineers and technicians on quality control procedures and techniquesCoordinate with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with all applicable standards and regulations
