Entering our 20th year in business, our small landscaping business is seeking to hire an administrative assistant. The job will be year round, part time (approx. 16-24 hours a week depending on the season), and ripe with opportunity to grow with the business as you carve out this essential role and help our business grow. Your schedule can be very flexible including some time in our office and meeting with the team as well as the opportunity to work remotely throughout the week. Our overall goal is to support the landscaping team by maintaining and improving the quality and consistency of our office administration in the following 5 areas:
Customer communications - phone, email, mailings, website, social media, etc.
Scheduling - estimates, projects, employee schedules
Bookkeeping – payroll, cash flow, accounts receivable and payable, filing
Sales - estimates, invoicing, and connecting with new clients
Systems – organize, streamline, and improve overall company systems
This position requires a high degree of organization and the ability to work independently and efficiently. Experience in administration with small business is preferred, as is experience using quickbooks accounting software.
Pay and benefits will be negotiable and based on experience, attitude, and performance.
