Accounts Payable Clerk

Description We are seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in the Gambling Industries based in LOUISVILLE, Kentucky. This role involves maintaining and processing customer applications and records, as well as resolving customer inquiries in a timely and efficient manner. This position offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Oversee the processing of customer credit applications to ensure accuracy and efficiency Manage and maintain precise customer credit records Monitor customer accounts and initiate appropriate actions when necessary Utilize MS Excel to organize, analyze, and present data effectively Maintain strong communication skills to handle customer inquiries and provide front-facing service Utilize Accounts Payable (AP) skills to manage financial transactions accurately Operate within the Ariba software system, implementing and optimizing its use within the team Ensure all actions and processes comply with the guidelines and regulations of the Gambling Industries. Requirements Must have a minimum of 3 years experience in an Accounts Payable Clerk role or similar. Demonstrated proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) is essential. Proficient in using MS Excel for data entry, analysis, and financial modeling. Must possess strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Detail-oriented with strong analytical problem-solving skills. Knowledge of the gambling industry would be advantageous. Must have the ability to handle confidential information responsibly. A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
