job detailsRandstad is looking for an experienced Logistics Clerk for a full time conttract-to-hire position. The Logistics Clerk will play a key role in our supply chain operations by coordinating and tracking shipments, managing inventory, and ensuring the smooth and timely delivery of goods. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Candidates with proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) with great attention to detail and the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks would be a great asset to this office. Screen phone calls and direct callers to the appropriate personnel

Write and distribute emails, memos, letters, faxes, and forms

Data entry of orders into database

Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, shipments, and deliveries

Communicate with carriers, suppliers, and customers to resolve any issues related to shipping and delivery

Coordinate and track shipments

Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against purchase orders and invoices

Assist in preparing regularly scheduled reports.

Maintain and organize filing system.

Order and manage office supplies inventory

Maintain up-to-date contact lists.

Perform other duties as assigned
