Description Robert Half is seeking an individual to fill the role of an Accounting Clerk for an esteemed organization in the telecom services industry. The Accounting Clerk will mainly be responsible for matching invoices to purchase orders and/or vouchers, data entry, and assisting in the process of Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R). This is a long-term contract / temporary employment opportunity based in the Louisville, Colorado area.Your responsibilities in this role
Collaborate with Accounts Receivable: process daily invoices/credit, apply cash receipt, and help with collection of past due balance
Overall accounting: help with G/L account reconciliation and month-end closing, other ad hoc projects
Settle discrepancies by checking all possible sources of disagreement, reconstructing probable actions, and recognizing the effect on other accounts; prepare correction documents as required
Upload financial information to journals and ledgers
Categorize documents that require knowledge in determining proper classification of accounting codes and expenditure codes
Assemble statements and reports that require utilization of a variety of sources
Work with Accounts Payable: vendor invoices and disbursement filing, A/P invoice matching & filing Requirements - Candidates with Spreadsheet and ERP system experience will be prioritized
Be able to prioritize workload and perform in a fast-paced and challenging environment
Hands-on experience with Excel Formulas
Proficiency in Concur
Fixed Asset Inventory experience preferred
Experience with cash management
Prior experience with Microsoft Excel
Well-founded grasp of Accounts Receivable (AR)
Foundational knowledge in cash management
Experience with Fixed Asset Records
General familiarity with Code Invoices
Foundational knowledge in Fixed asset management
Comprehension of Credit Card Reconciliation
Quality experience with data entry
Solid understanding of Fixed Asset Ledger
Previous experience working with Microsoft Great Plains Accounting
Wide ranging experience with numeric data entry
Expertise in Concur
Solid understanding of Pivot Table
Earlier work involving High-Volume Data Entry
Practical knowledge of Administrative Assistance
Skills in Credit Card Payments
Good understanding of Great Plains (GPAC)
Well-founded grasp of cash management
Experience with Credit Card Statements
Solid understanding of VLOOKUP
Proven knowledge of cash management
Proven knowledge of fixed assets
Deep understanding of Fixed Asset Accounting
AA or BS/BA in Accounting or related field preferred
3+ years of relevant experience
