Description Robert Half is currently seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our client as an Accounting Assistant! As an integral part of the finance department, you'll have the opportunity to grow and develop your skills while contributing to the success of our organization.Responsibilities:Matching invoices to purchase orders or vouchersPerforming data entryAssisting with the processing of accounts payable and accounts receivableSupport the accounting department with a variety of different tasksBookkeeping and general accountingCreating and maintaining spreadsheetsOperating data terminals calculators and other standard office equipmentPerforming clerical work and interoffice support including receiving and processing mailMaintaining and promoting excellent vendor relationsAssembling, sorting and tabulating codes and filing dataVerifying claims and processing orders and deposit slipsRequirements Requirements:Education: A degree in accounting or related field is preferred.Knowledge of accounting principles and software like QuickBooks.Attention to detail and organizational skills.Strong communication and analytical skills.Ethical behavior and integrity.Time management and adaptability.Basic math skills.Ability to work well in a team.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
