The Lead Operator is responsible for the daily operations, development of operators, ensuring compliance with all policies/ procedures, ensuring resources are scheduled accordingly per the production schedule.Key Objectives / Deliverables:

Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment, working safely and accountable for supporting all HSE Corporate and Site Goals.

Ensure strict compliance with established policies/procedures (Safety, Production Procedures, Sanitization, Gowning, Etc.). Ensure operators are trained appropriately.

Take ownership for implementation of countermeasures associated with audits, observations, inspection findings, and deviations relative to aseptic areas and capping/sorting areas.

Participate in planning of operations. Network with various areas to verify components and equipment are available for manufacturing / packaging.

Assist supervisors in development, performance evaluation of operators.

Technical leader on manufacturing line, setting good example, has demonstrated knowledge of procedures, compliance with quality systems and use of proper techniques. Resource for operators on line.

Fully qualified to operate in the Grade C area including bottle wash, tunnel, capper, tray loader, and transfer panel

Education Requirements:

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Additional Preferences:

Strong interpersonal skills and leadership to communicate with operators.

Aseptic experience preferred.

Parenteral Manufacturing Experience.

Experience working in an aseptic environment is desired.

Able to stand for extended durations while in the aseptic area.

Strong understanding of quality systems in a manufacturing environment.

Flexible to work overtime, weekends, off-shifts.

Basic computer skills including MMII and desktop software (Excel, Word,Flowstream, Electronic Mail).

Other Information:

Ability to work in the Grade C area

Ability to wear safety equipment (safety glasses, safety shoes, protective gloves, respirator, etc.)

Ability to work overtime, weekends, off-shifts.
